Did a little work on my WordPress blog and feed to support the status
format used for Micro.blog posts. Was pretty fun to implement and I’m really liking the looks of Micro.blog. Nice job @manton!
Tony made Memphis his home and hearing him say it will always be home is really something special. Thanks for everything TA.
I’ll be back in Memphis, on a permanent basis, at some point in time. I can guarantee you that. Whether it’s working for this organization, or working somewhere else in the city, or just being one of those old dudes who hangs around Mem, eating barbecue or whatever, and one day you’ll tap some old dude on the shoulder and it’ll be like, Yo, that’s Tony Allen — man, whether it’s any of those things, or whether it’s something else. I’ll be back in Memphis. No doubt.
Thank you Zach.
To Zach — Thank you for all the joy and magical moments too numerous to count. Thank you for the energy and excitement you brought each and every night to FedExForum. Thank you for your leadership and service. Thank you for your larger than life impact and for keeping all Memphians warm. Thank you.
While there will be a time and place to recognize your lasting impact in Memphis, starting today, as stated earlier by Controlling Owner, Robert Pera, number 50 will never be worn by any other member of the Memphis Grizzlies.
I haven’t linked to anything in a while, but this Memphis video by Drew Holcomb is fantastic.
I just finished helping my friends over at The Body Church launch their new website and get their podcast hosting setup and added to the iTunes directory. The site is built on WordPress and the Genesis Framework using the Outreach Pro child theme from StudioPress. I had fun working on this with them over the last couple of weeks and I’m glad to get it out there.
Really cool video piece by the New York Times on Memphis including BBQ, drinks, music, and history. Raiford’s Hollywood Disco and Jerry’s Snow Cones are two places I have spent way more time over the years than I’d like to admit. Both are covered in this video.
